What experience do you have with dogs?
Chasin' Pets has been in business for over 12 + years.
We own and are a doggy daycare and boarding facility
with strategic relationships with a variety of vets, trainers and groomers in the LA area.
All of our dog walkers and assistants are professionally trained.
Where do you walk my dog(s)?
We walk each client's dog in their own neighborhood.
We provide one on one service and we do not gather dogs from different clients to walk them at the same time.
We believe our time and attention should be focused solely on your dog.
Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
Chasin'Pets Pets Services, LLC. is licensed, bonded and insured through the Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
What are your hours?
Our dog boarding services are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
We are available to the public for daycare according to the following schedule:
Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m..
Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We provide dog walking services during the following times:
Monday-Friday :7:30 am - 7:30 pm.
Saturday-Sunday: 10:00 am-5:00 pm.
Our holiday hours will be posted on our web site.
What size dogs do you walk?
We walk small to medium sized dogs only.
We do not walk any guard dogs, dogs that haven't been spayed or neutered, or aggressive dogs.
All dogs must go through our mandatory meet and greet screening process for daycare, boarding and dog walking.
What do you need from me?
We also ask for 2 keys so the dog walker can have one and the other key is kept in a lock file cabinet at the office.
If there is an emergency and you lock yourself out, we will be there as long as it's within our working hours.
If your key breaks in the lock, we will have an extra key to perform our job.
How will I get my key back if I move or discontinue service?
If you have kept your keys on file with us, we will be glad to mail them back to you upon your written request.
If you need them to be dropped off, we can arrange that as well.
There will be a trip charge of $12.00 for this service.
What if I call you and I get your voicemail service?
We check our voicemail and email messages several times per day.
If you don’t reach us directly, we will return your call or reply to your email within 24 hours.
Please leave a detailed message with your dates of travel or which days you are interested in having weekly dog walking service.
Please include full name, city and any other important pet care information we might need to better assist you when we get back to you.
Also, please be sure to let us know the best phone number(s) to reach you.
How is payment handled?
We accept payments via MasterCard, Visa, or Check.
Payment is due each time service is rendered. Our fee for a NSF check is $35.
What is your cancellation policy for dog walking services?
Will I receive a refund?
For dog walking services , we require 24 hours notice, in writing, through our email at ChasinPets@Hotmail.com.
First cancellation within 24 hours of a scheduled visit is subject to a $10.00.
All subsequent cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled visit are subject to the full charge.
Our dog walkers have made their time around your schedule and have turned people down to allow time for your pets .
All email information should include the dates/times you scheduled our services.
If you violate our agreement, meaning we receive no writing verification in a timely manner or you have missed the deadlines stated.
no refunds will be given.
Will I receive a refund if I cancel later than expected?
No, please understand that we have made time for your visits and may have turned other people down to allow time for your dog walk.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
What happens in severe weather?
Your pet's well being is our primary concern and we will contact you immediately if roads are impassable or if there is damage due to acts of nature. We will always keep you informed and we will use our best judgment to determine if we can walk your dog.
Is the information I give to my sitter confidential?
Yes. Chasin Pets Pets Service, LLC., is committed to keeping all information we receive from our clients and dog walkers confidential.
We will not disclose any of your personal information including your mailing address, phone numbers, and email address.
We will only use your information as a means to take good care of your pets and home while you are away.
Will I get the same dog walker each time I am away?
We prefer to keep the continuity of the same dog walker with the same dog and will do everything possible to make that happen for you.
If the dog walker is not available, then a substitute dog walker will be available.
Can I hire my dog walker directly without Chasin Pets Pet Service, LLC?
All scheduling must go through our company.
Please don't place our dog walkers in an uncomfortable position of negotiating their time.
They work for Chasin Pets and our dog walkers are prohibited from scheduling work outside of the Chasin Pets guidelines..

Can you administer medication to my animals while I am at work?
While we do not provide shots, we are happy to provide medication to your dog as long as we have an exact medication sheet made out for us daily.
We can administer pills, eye drops, medicated ear washes as long as your dog is not aggressive during this process.
All applicable charges will apply.
What areas do you service for dog walking?
We currently service Beverly Hills, West Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Culver City and Venice.
Do you have a minimum number of days that I would need in order to sign up for weekly dog walking service?
We require a minimum of 2 days per week and we ask that these be set days so that your dog and the walker can have a regular weekly schedule.

Do your dog walkers take my dog(s) off-leash during their walk?
No. Your dog is walked on leash always. We do this for their safety. There are no exceptions.
What kind of timeframe do you need for our scheduled dog walking? Do you come at an exact time?
We ask for a minimum of a two hour timeframe during which you want your dog walker to arrive for their visit.
This helps us negotiate any unforeseen traffic problems or emergencies.
What happens if a dog walker is bitten or in some way hurt by my pet, who is responsible?
If a Chasin'Pets Pet Care provider is harmed or injured by the client's pet:
The client/owner accepts full responsibility of any necessary medical attention required by the dog walker.
May I give my sitter or dog walker a gratuity?
Absolutely. You can give gratuities directly to your dog walker or you can mail them to the office. Gratuities go directly to the Chasin Pets dog walker. They always appreciate being recognized for a job well done.
Do you charge a holiday fee?
Yes, we do. We do charge a $5.00 per visit holiday fee for the following holidays:
New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (all day), Christmas Day. This is a way for us to reward our dog walkers who are giving of their holiday time.
