A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That!

by admin on March 8, 2012

I love writing about the dogs and the connections in our lives. Always gives me a lift. A kick in the pants of reality. They are my such good friends.  But today, I’m taking a bit of a different twist.  Hence the title; “A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That!”  I’m starting off with a poem I found.

I Lie belly up

In the sunshine, happier than

You ever will

Sitting by you thinking about us

Sleeping here, my chin

On your foot-no great bliss-well,

Look in my eyes and

Deny it. No human could

Love you as much as I do.

Vanity, does take me over. I absolutely hate looking like the “Dog Girl”.  I don’t think you need to look like that scruffy gal walking with your dogs. 1 pair of shoes I dig, are my Toms. Love the look, love the feel. I can walk in these shoes and I feel good in these shoes. There is no room in my world to look like a schelp.  You can get these babies at Toms, or Nordstroms. Put the pazza back in looking pretty. It’s good for you brain to see you looking great. And this is no advertisement at all.

I always feel the connection with the animals in my life. That’s just who I am. I guess I’m a lover of dogs. I’m a lover their innocence, their crazy antics, their loyalty. So with that being said, I leave you with this last shot that I love.

Hugs and Licks to you all.  You can follow me on facebook: Alanna Chasin and Alanna aka The Dog Buddha. That’s who I really am.

Hi There! Good comment. You can totally train your dogs yourself. You seem to know your stuff, which I like and always admire in an owner. I’ve always found that repetition is a key factor. Doing the same commands over and over 1 at a time has helped us here. Love that you also give your time and love to volenteer work at a shelter. Bravo to you. Really! Thanks for the read and your comments. They are appreciated.
